Local ‘Little Lanka ’ ? Pavan Pelluri Wilson's School

Since 1810,  when Sake Dean Mahomed opened the first Indian restaurant in England - the Hindoostane Coffee House, Indian cuisine has flourished across the UK and despite some criticising authenticity of such cuisine in recent years, it is nonetheless a core part of many UK citizens' pallets but also local Wallington pallets. Being an Indian, I have prided myself on the diverse array of flavours and multiple textures that make Indian food so scrumptious, yet as a South Indian, I have not been impressed.
