Young Reporter Competitive Futures Day at Bancroft's Ted Howden Chalmers Bancroft's

Currently, about three quarters of a million young people turn eighteen every year, presenting them gracefully onto the imaginary Monty Hall set of life, where they must choose which door to open next. With traditional universities offering over 50,000 different courses across the UK, employers chomping at the bit to invest in eighteen-year-old potential and degree-apprenticeships exponentially increasing their appeal, it is more difficult (and sometimes confusing) than ever for young people to decide where to go with their lives at eighteen. To help students approaching this trying age grapple with and consider their options, Bancroft’s School held a ‘Competitive Futures Options’ day.
