Lloyds Banking Group confirms 60 more branches to close this year - full list of Lloyds and Halifax closures

Lloyds Banking Group has confirmed the closure of 60 branches in a massive blow to the Big Four firm's customers.Bank branch closures have been the norm in the UK with more than 6,000 sites shutting down since 2015, according to Which?The banking group, which is made up of Lloyds Bank, Halifax and Bank of Scotland, has announced dozens of locations will close between October 2024 and June 2025.Experts have previously warned of the "alarming rate" of closures with some three million Britons facing poorer access to physical banking services.Other banks that have shut down branches in recent months include Barclays, NatWest and HSBC.Dozens of sites are set to be shut down for good later this month, as reported by GB News.Do you have a money story you’d like to share? Some 28 new Community Bankers will be introduced to offset any potential detrimental impact on customers.
