Under the festive mood, a form residing in year 10 at The Tiffin Girls’ School, put together a sensational karaoke event which filled the air with festivity but also raised an incredible £509.50 for girls’ education in Asia. The event was set up in the main hall of the school and was planned to take place at lunch time during the last week of school, to heighten the spirit as the term ended. The form advertised the tickets and people had the opportunity to buy them in advance or at the door, and the event was truly amazing. On the stage, teachers teamed up in their corresponding departments and showcased their vocal talents, singing along to popular holiday tunes and producing memorable performances. Confetti was thrown, glittery outfits worn and choreography was both improvised and memorised, making the performance truly unpredictable and marvellous to watch. The event hosted over 500 attendees, which made the atmosphere truly joyous and in tune with the holiday spirit of giving.
