Many football fans recognise the Emirates FA Cup as a prestigious tournament iconised by the famous draw which consists of pulling out marbles from a black silk bag. For many Premier League fans, the cup begins in January, although in reality, the tournament’s qualifying rounds get underway only a few weeks after the winner’s trophy is lifted, in this instance by Manchester City at a sold-out Wembley Stadium.
