Young Reporter, Emma Wrenn, The Tiffin Girls' School

There is a pleasant familiarity to the Christmas lights in Kingston. They are not incredibly marvellous, nothing like Oxford Street, with its extravagant display of flashes and sprinkles and crowds upon crowds of tourists. They seem to come up around mid to late November each year, without much fuss or excitement, and are nearly identical to how they were the year before. I appreciate them for this, and find they make the area seem pleasantly Christmassy without being so wonderful that everyone wants to see them.
