As one enters the gymnasium of Glyn School, where the Epsom Cricket club holds their weekly Friday evening training sessions, they can see balls whiz past at alarmingly skilful speeds. The room is loud with chatter and the pattering of a run up's footsteps and there are people of all ages and backgrounds present, from little boys awkwardly tossing the ball to their friends to the strong strokes of grown women.
