At the end of Ramadan, muslims across the world come together to celebrate the religious holiday of Eid. This year, Eid began last Wednesday on the 10th April 2024. More specifically, it is known as "Eid-ul-Fitr", meaning "Holiday of breaking the fast." It begins on the first day of Shawwal on the Arabic calendar, on the night of sighting the crescent moon.
